The main raw materials of the anode material include asphalt and needle coke, which are the existing products of the company.

In the field of negative materials, the company's existing and under construction negative material capacity can match the lithium battery capacity planning of major customers by 2025. At the same time, through the implementation of the investment project, the company can further improve the regional layout of the negative material production capacity, to ensure the production supply capacity, improve the response speed of downstream demand, and match the lithium battery planning capacity and market prospects, and the stable cooperation between the company and existing customers can ensure the effective digestion of new production capacity.

As the carrier of the strategic development of carbon-based new materials, with the vision of "becoming a leader in China's new carbon material industry", the company has initially formed three carbon material planning directions of "from asphalt to asphalt based carbon fiber", "from asphalt to needle coke to negative electrode material", and "from asphalt to needle coke to graphite electrode", and actively promote the strategic transformation of the enterprise. The development of the anode material industry is in line with China Baowu's "one base five yuan" development strategy, and is also consistent with the company's carbon-based new material planning direction.
